Important Submission Dates



Mouse Pad Grid Contest Submissions - DUE NOVEMBER 17th
  • Get a mouse pad from one of the committee members or Alicia or Anna (they are limited in number so if you want to compete its first come first serve) Design, Illustrate, Decorate it according the "Once upon a time (dark fairy tale)" Theme. Submit it for a chance to have your work blown up onto a 6x6 grid of Mousepads to be featured at DesignFest.


Call for Theme related work (see previous call for art post for story ideas) -
DUE DECEMBER 1st.
  • This is work that will be chosen for one room at DesignFest dedicated to the theme.
  • Three awards will also be allotted for work from this room at DesignFest.

Call for existing work DUE DECEMBER 1st
  • DesignFest Committee members will be sitting in on Portfolio Reviews for the purpose of choosing work for DesignFest.
  • Submissions will also be accepted outside of Portfolio Reviews. This work can be given to Anna, Alicia or any DesignFest Committee member.
DesignFest Committee Members will be sitting in on Portfolio Reviews
  • They will be looking to pull work for DesignFest
  • They will be looking for artists whom might represent themselves in an Artist Alley at DesignFest.
  • IMPRESS THEM!

Remember to get your creativity flowing and your artwork ready. here are some fairy tales from where you may choose to base your illustrations on (there is a signing sheet going around campus, and on the Westwood Cinematics Board).
